Wishcasting Wednesday 8/26
This week the lovely Jamie Ridler asks us fellow Wishcasting Sisters: What do you wish to acknowledge yourself for?
1. The great mother I am. Many doubted I'd be able to pull it off (because of deformity), but here we are 14 years later. So, I'd like to stick my tongue out to ALL of my doubters!
2. My role as a wife. I have a great hubby who brings out the best (and sometime worst) in me. :)
3. My Heart. I wear it upon my sleeve and I no longer see that as a bad thing.
4. Doing ALL of the things doctors told my mom I'd never do (have a baby, drive a car, walk). I say HAHA!!
5. Finding my voice and not being afraid to fully use it.
6. Being the change I wish to see in this world.

Those are great things to honor in yourself!! I especially like the finding your voice & using it - that covers a lot doesn't it? Love it!
ReplyDeleteYou are so incredible. One of my heroes!
ReplyDeleteyay for you! sometimes all we need is for someone to tell us we can't do something. just makes me more determined, and sounds like you're much the same.
ReplyDeleteAs Tabith wishes to acknowledge herself, so I wish to acknowledge her also.
You had me laughing with the sticking the tongue out and HAHA! Good for you for proving them wrong!
ReplyDeleteI marvel at you ... truly you inspire me, when sometime brief times I doubt.
ReplyDeleteAs you so wish for yourself, I wish also ... and smile as I acknowledge you, for the marvelous you.
On a completely unrelated topic, I stood up to a bully on bus ~ one who threatened to beat an old lady that said something benign to him in jest. Then he started threatening me. I still stood my ground ... told him bring it on. The many other people on the bus sat, like apathetic pussies ... watching me ... I was not afraid ... knew in my heart it was the truly right thing to do ... despite the others.
Somehow this makes me think of how you've stood up to adversity and overcome it.
You are a gift, Tabitha, even to those of us who have yet to meat you in real life. Thankyou. Thank your mother.
