More Of

I love reading blogs. I've been doing it since early 2008. This morning one of the bloggers I follow asked "What Do You Want More of in 2015?" The answers rushed passed my lips with ease.
I want MORE:
1. Peace
2. Of the ability to say Yes (even when afraid)
3. Gratitude
4. Truth & Laughter
5. Quiet time with God
6. Of a servant's heart (U can NEVER have too much)

7. Time on earth to bless others
8. Of the Word of God to Engulf my very being
9. LOVE to infect this world we're in
10. Abundance for ALL (mentally, physically, emotionally & spiritually)

P.O.P Day 9

4 years ago I set myself free from Society's idea of what beautiful hair was.  I chopped it all off and fell in love with myself.  The down fall was I allowed society once again to dictate my look.  I started growing my hair out, because I didn't want people to think blah blah blah.

Well, I'm done with that and I have once again gone back to the look that I love!  With this look I feel freed from this world.  I can see the REAL ME! No hiding behind hair or masks.  Just being me! I feel beautiful!
I'm going to look how I desire to see myself! I'm going to love me regardless of what anyone else thinks! I'm going to be authentically True to myself!
My Daily Intention: To embrace my true beauty from the inside out :)
My Daily Gift: To be gentle and compassionate with myself.

P.O.P - Day 8: Trying To Be More Like Jesus

But its very hard.  I struggle daily.  On many days I fail miserably, but I get up the next day and give it another try.  I don't give up.  I can't.  Giving up in this world is simply not an option for me.

During church I received great help.  I felt as if the word was just for me today.  I truly needed that, because when you're stumbling that insane devil will go at you HARD.  So, I wanted to share a few pointers I received today.  Maybe it will help others. :)

To Be Like Jesus Means:
A) Loving ALL beings (including their flaws)
B) Being the peace keeper (My aunt Diana was amazing at this)
C) To bless others without fear or conditions
D) Desiring to please God above others (When you help, bless or forgive others regardless of themselves THAT pleases God immensely)
E) Saying YES.  Even if there is no acknowledgment of your act or 1 single thank you!)
F) Forgiving others quickly because God has forgiven You.

We are humans, so we will never be perfect as Jesus IS.  But, we can take baby steps daily that will allow Him to perfect our imperfections.  Allowing US to reflect more of Him and less of this world.  It's not easy, but it is very DOABLE. :)

My Daily Intention: is to be more like Jesus by following these steps.
My Daily Gift: To cook my family & I an amazing dinner!

God Bless

21 Day Pledge of Peace - Day 5 & 6

I forgot to come here yesterday and blog. :(
So, here I am with today's post :)

My word for 2015 is YES. So I started a bit early when it comes to trying new and healthier foods. This morning I had a breakfast pizza, which is sunny side up egg on toasted wheat bread w/just a little Tomato Paste (The flavored kind- Oregano & Basil) and a pinch of shredded cheese. It...Was...Awesome!!!  I had NEVER had a sunny side up egg in my life, so saying yes to this was a HUGE step and a pleasant one at that!

My Daily Intention: To say Yes more often today.
My Daily Gift: To put healthier food items within my body.

21 Day Pledge of Peace - Day 4

I'm going to step outside of my comfort zone for a good cause.  For 7 years now my family & I have run a mission for God called God's Luvmail.  We send children who are ill, bullied, mentally ill or are financially challenged small goodies (coloring book, crayons, paddle-balls, costume jewelry, etc).  To this date we have uplifted 14, 128 children and adults.  We have recently received an Extremely High Volume in requests and we Desperately want to add a little extra Love to these kids lives.

We are in dire need of help in obtaining the postage needed to fulfill each request.  Each package we send out costs $2.32.  A $3 contribution would allow 1 kid to be blessed.  Will you consider helping make that happen?  We have a Go Fund Me page.  If your heart moves you to help we'll be forever Grateful.

My Daily intention: To drum up support for the kids asking for our help
My Daily Gift: To believe in the kindness of others.
