Releasing A Big Wish on Wishcasting Wednesday

Image used from AllPosters.com

Every Wednesday the lovely Jamie Ridler sends a wish prompt for all wish casting sisters to answer. Every week our blogs are filled with love and reciprocation for one another. This week along with Jamie's prompt I have a wish of my own and I need my sisters support of sending this out into the universe and believing it will be answered. When I refer to family I am in no way referring to my loving husband or our beautiful daughter, but I am referring to every other being within my family. I thank you all in advance for your kindness and compassion.

My Wish: I wish that my family would be supportive of one another's dreams and journeys.
I wish there was a stronger sense of respect, kindness and loyalty.

This week Jamie asks: What do you wish to remember?

I wish to remember every bit of advice my Grandma has ever given me. She was my strength, my number 1 fan and now that she's gone things are different. I wish to remember that her blood flows through my veins and her strength has been with me now more than ever. I want to remember that she is the greatest guardian Angel and with her on my side I can not fail. I never want to forget anything about her.

  8. Tabitha -
When I read your Wish this morning...tears spilled down my cheeks. For your wish is most definitely my wish too. I've found that one of the most difficult obstacles in my life is lack of support or encouragement from the ones you hold closest to your heart. I actually had this conversation with one family member the other day -- and I told him, "You don't realize how much I love you and want to please you and make you proud...and live up to your expectations. Encourage me and expect me to succeed and I will do everything in my power to succeed....expect me to fail, and I will most likely live up to those expectations too."

Remember though, that family doesn't always have to be blood...and there is an enormous family out here that believes in you 100%..and then some. You are like no one I know in terms of your drive, vision and passion. You are an inspiration...truly.

Your expression of love for your grandma is one I can completely relate to as well. Like you, I know she is ALWAYS with me...100%...in fact, as I'm typing this, I can feel her heaven-sent embrace. If you've never read my story about her... please do. She was really someone special. http://justbhappy100.blogspot.com/2009/05/from-generation-to-generation.html

    Blessings today and always.

  18. Tabitha, this is a powerful wish and I am honored to hold it for you. I truly understand about Grandmothers, our angels, and how they loved and supported us unconditionally. Perhaps if you pray with her face in mind, you will tap into her energy and support. I will also hold you and your family in heart and thought for Acceptance.... Love to you.

  24. I had to give up on my family liking me or thinking well of me. Instead, I just content myself with still caring about them -- from a distance!

Hope you have better luck with yr wish! I can't see why they wouldn't support yr dreams, but families are STRANGE, LOL...you just keep on keepin' on, please keep making the poscasts, because truly yr voice is needed in the world.

  25. Wonderful wishes, Tabitha. WRT family, a person's family and community is incredibly important, because no one has achieved any great thing on his own, without support from his family and friends.

As Tabitha wishes for herself, I so wish for her and all of us also.

    Sincerely,
    -TimK

Blessings to you and your family!
Your Grandmother will always live on through you and your little ones.
I lost my father (My grandparents raised me, so my grandpa was my Daddy). Sometimes when I look at my daughter whose only 8 months old, she'll have a look on her face and sometimes it's her eyes and that's when I see it. Not only through my memories, but through me and my offspring. It brings me comfort to know that his spirit lives on. Not only in our memories, but in our hearts.

  32. As Tabitha wishes for herself, so I lovingly and with intention wish for her also. Tabitha, it is a blessing that you have the love and support of your daughter and husband. Your concentration of the lack of support from other family members is draining valuable energy that need not. Release these family members from your negative thoughts and in time they may realize your dream as you do. But in the meantime, do not concentrate on the lack; for there are so many blessings already at your disposal. Concentrating on the lack is blocking energies on manifesting what's already there, awaiting you to open fully to the light! I'm sure that your grandmother would advise you to move beyond those negative family members, and follow your dreams with all your being! Peace, Light and Love to you and yours. . .

This post brought tears to my eyes because I feel the same way about my grandmother. Though she has been gone from this life for 20 years, she is still very near and dear to my heart. Thank you for sharing!
