An Angel Is Born

A little after 11pm last night God called my aunt Diana home to rest in his loving arms.  This lost is so very hard for my family, because of who she was.  Humble, kind, caring, compassionate, forgiving, loving, God fearing and gentle.  She was all of those things and then some.  She was the peace-keeper within our family.  If there was a tear she mended it.

Last night God gained a True Angel in every sense of the word and for that I am grateful.  She will never know pain again and for that I am grateful.  She will now watch over us from Heaven and for this I am grateful.

She adored singing and writing songs, so my heart will rejoice in knowing that The Heavenly Choir just gained a new member. :)

She will be laid to rest on Monday, so my family and I will be leaving to go back home (N.O.) on Friday.  I will return on Tuesday, so please know I have not abandoned my blog.  Thank you to everyone who uplifted us in prayer.  Please know that you are DEEPLY appreciated and loved.

May God Bless & Keep You In His Loving Embrace

  5. So sad she passed, Tabitha, but glad she's at rest and now has eternal life. But it's hard on those left behind, missing her.

Take care of yourself, traveling so soon after your surgery has got me concerned.

  10. May your loved one be winging around with the angels. She was blessed to have your love and to love in return.

On another note, Tabitha, my dear friend Carole - who came into my life through Chemo Angels (and you!) has passed on. I just wanted to let you know that serving as an "earth angel" to her via letters and small gifts (thanks to you) changed me and enabled me to experience love in a whole new way. We never met, we never spoke, thought she did send me a few emails. I rec'd a letter from her daughter thanking me and telling me of her mom's passing. At first, I was devastated because I so hoped she would make it. Now, I know she HAS made it and is experiencing an amazing new life. I am sure the angels welcomed her with open arms.

So thank you sweet Tabitha for giving me a nudge in this direction. One of the best experiences of my life....xo
