Trust in the LORD with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make your paths straight.
Do not be wise in your own eyes;
fear the LORD and shun evil.
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make your paths straight.
Do not be wise in your own eyes;
fear the LORD and shun evil.
--Proverbs 3:5-7
I am currently studying this verses with my entire heart. There are days when things are crystal clear and then there are days when you feel like you've just walked into a fog filled forest. But, the trick to making it through each day is to surrender. Know that you have no control and the Father will get you through any and every aspect of your life. This is something I am once again learning for myself. I am resting in the Lord's peace and calling on him often. Even through heartache and the unknown I can still find things to be grateful for and I Thank God for that!
Today I Am Grateful:
1. That I am a child of the Most Loving Father up high
2. For peace and grace
3. For hugs, kisses and re-assurance
4. That I am finding MY strength once again
5. For every second that I have here on earth
3 Beautiful Moments:
1. Realizing my weaknesses in the presence of God
2. Listening to John Ortberg (I love his sermons!)
3. Waking up to sweet kisses from my hubby
you are so loved...

ReplyDeleteYou are so right about finding things to be grateful for, even in the midst of crisis. Having just gone through a health crisis with our 6 year old grandson (and more to come), I was blown away by all the grace and miracles around it. Being open to that is what made the difference rather than focusing on all the challenges and blockades. God finds a way around all that if you let Him.
ReplyDeleteTabitha,
ReplyDeleteYou are right in that the more we struggle with our own desires to handle life, the more difficult it becomes and when we yield to God, we can overcome.
