25 Days of Thankfulness - Days 1 & 2

In February of this year I did "28 Days of Loving-Kindness." My friend Xazmin @ This Is The Year and her friend Amanda @ Serenity Now are going to do 27 Days of Thankful as a celebration to Thanksgiving, however I will be doing my 25 Days of Thankfulness as Thanksgiving is on the 26th of this month. I love expressing my gratitude and what better way to say "Thank You" than by doing so. So, whether it be big or small for the next few weeks I'll be sharing the many things I am grateful for. I'll even be sharing a few things I've never shared before.

For the past few weeks I had been driving myself crazy over our Christmas give and my 14 year old daughter sat me down and asked "do you believe in God?" I answered yes. She then said "why are you blocking your blessings with these unnecessary thoughts?" I immediately took a step back and realized just how much sense she had just made. He never lets us down, after-all we are doing his work. I've felt so light since then and great things have been coming our way in the form of support. I'm so thankful for my daughter! She always knows how to bring me down from my craziness and she does it with loving-kindness.

  3. There was a book title don't sweat the small stuff and it's all small stuff... I don't remember the author.. but in Letting go and letting God and Trusting Him, it all becomes small stuff. Just as the sparrows, He will take care of His children. Your daughter is a wise one... Hmmm sounds a little like her Mom... Beautiful , inside and out. Gratitude is always a great way to start and end the day, and sprinkle it in the middle as well. May you continue to be Blessed with Love, Joy, Bliss , and Gratitude. Thank you for all your uplifting posts. Blessings to you and yours. Love and Light, Nina P
